The plants disperse their seed on the wind, their pollen travels on the bodies of insects, each generation travels to a new land. it is, then, reasonable to assume that all around us are the descendants of the first botanical inhabitants of the Garden of Eden, the Earthly Paradise. we have a common origin, but, unlike us, they were not banished, they simply moved on. the study of the plants around us can give us a glimpse of the inhabitants of Pardise, untarnished by a Fall, it can give us a hint of the route they took to get here. These paintings, in oils on copper, are thoughts of an original garden born in a mind which is rooted in the city beyond the wilderness.
